Thursday, could you please be Friday?

Anybody else feel like this "short" week has somehow felt long? This is one of those days where I'm feeling the pressure of my lengthy to-do list (a list that seems to have several repeats day after day lately--anybody feelin' me on this one?), and while I know my spirit really needs some quiet time with Jesus, the fleshly part of me just wants to do, do, do in an attempt to please the box-checking person within. Lord, help me surrender to your gentlemanly, patient invitations.
